Our Process

At TOPSCO, we value each and every one of our customers, so we deliver the highest quality every time. Each of the worktops we produce are tailored to your specific needs for a professional and long-lasting finish. We’re committed to only using the highest quality materials for our worktops to ensure complete satisfaction and we have many years’ experience in this industry to guide our decisions. TOPSCO has a thorough and methodical approach to every project we take on to maintain impeccable standards that we, and our customers, can be proud of.

Finding The Perfect Fit

There’s no one-size-fits-all when it comes to the ideal kitchen, so we offer full customisation which includes edge detailing and shaping. This creates an aesthetically-appealing worktop that looks great, but it also means your work surface works for your needs. From softer rounded corners for busy family homes to straighter cuts that deliver a modern and stylish result, and a host of options in between, we offer numerous possibilities to help you create your perfect worktop.

Expert Material Sourcing

We know quality and we take time to thoroughly test and vet each material we work with to ensure that it’s the best for the job. Any stones that have inconsistent tonality, cracks or fissures are eliminated as part of our quality control checks to provide our customers with the very best quality at all times. For larger projects where multiple slabs are required, we’ll match barcodes to make sure that there is a continuation of colour and patterning, for a professional finish that looks natural.

Site Survey

The right fit is of paramount importance, so to ascertain the best fit for your property, we conduct a site survey for each of our customers. Our highly trained team of professionals will advise you when selecting your worktop and determine where holes and cut-outs need to be made to accommodate your layout and any fixtures you may have. Throughout this process, we’ll work closely with you to keep you updated as to how the fitting and installation will progress. We understand that this is an investment and we want to ensure that you’re happy at every stage.

Quality Craftsmanship

Once you’ve chosen your materials and we’ve created the template for your worktop, it’s time for us to fabricate it for you. This is the process of taking the stone slab and transforming it into your dream worktop. We only use the finest materials for a spectacular finish and take great pride in carefully measuring, cutting and polishing the worktop before sealing it to protect it from damage. This process takes 7-15 working days and is completely primarily off-premises, although additional fabrication may be completed during the installation phase to ensure the best fit.

Professional Installation

Even the most beautiful worktops need correct installation in order to look their best. We provide a professional installation service that is streamlined and efficient to ensure that your worktop is functional, safe and do justice to your home. Our trained craftsmen aim to minimise the stress of remodelling, working hard to install your worktop as quickly as possible. The fitting process takes between 5 and 8 hours to complete and we use the best materials to make sure it’s fitted safely and that joints are rendered invisible. The result is a worktop you love with as minimal hassle as possible.
